Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Welcome to St. Matthew Catholic Church! I am grateful that you have taken the time to visit our website and hope you will soon have the opportunity to join us in person.

Whether you are new to the Catholic Church, new to the Charlotte area, returning to the faith after some time away or looking for a parish to call home, you are welcome here. St. Matthew Parish is a vibrant and growing Catholic community where people of all ages come together to worship, grow in faith and serve others.

Please know that you do not have to have everything figured out before you walk through our doors. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome at St. Matthew. My hope is that you will feel at home, grow in your relationship with Christ and discover the many ways you can become part of our community.

I invite you to join us for Mass, explore our many ministries and faith formation opportunities and discover the many ways to become part of our parish family. If you have questions or are not sure where to begin, please reach out. We are here to help.

Thank you for considering St. Matthew as your spiritual home. I look forward to welcoming you and walking with you on your journey of faith.

Yours in Christ,

Father Patrick Cahill
